April Gymnast of the Month

Compulsory 4

Delaney
Delaney is new to Compulsory 4 this season. She has worked very hard to learn the new routines. She has also made significant improvements on vault and bars the last couple weeks in practice. Delaney always has a smile on her face and a positive attitude. She does a great job of making corrections and is very eager to help when asked. Delaney is thoughtful of her teammates in the gym. She is very motivated to do her best and should have an awesome Compulsory 4 season.

Adrianna
Adrianna has been a Compulsory 4 for 2 years now, but this is her first competition season- she is FINALLY old enough to compete! Adrianna is a very talented gymnast. She regularly attends clinics and works very hard in practice. She is doing an awesome job with the routines and will see some pretty good scores this season. Aside from being a great gymnast, Adrianna is a fantastic kid. While working hard, she likes to have fun with her friends in the gym. Good luck this season!

Jaimee is a new Compulsory 5 this season. Jaimme has been doing a great job in practice this month. She is striving to get her skills and is doing a good job of staying focused on each event. Her routines are coming together and she is making huge improvements. Jaimee has a positive attitude and a strong work eithic. She will volunteer to help with anything and sets a great example of the enthusiasim we love to see in the girls. Keep it up Jaimee!

Optional

Mauryn
Mauryn has a tough job this season, she is the youngest optional on our team. She has done an outstanding job learning the tough new optional skills, staying at practice later and meeting the higher expectations of being an optional. Mauryn has learned her routines and is focused on getting her dismount on bars and back walk over on beam. She is a very mature young lady with a VERY bright future in gymnastics! Keep up the amazing work!

Sarina
From the youngest member of our team to the oldest : ) Sarina just competed her first meet following a torn ACL during her high school season of her Senior Year. Sarina was determined not to end her gymnastics career with an injury so she has committed to the CARA season. At the Broomfield Invite she competed Beam, the even she was injured on. Her “no fall” beam routine might not be the highest scoring of her career, but it certainly marked a strong triumphant comeback. The pride I had in hugging her after her dismount, I still feel today. She made a statement to herself, and everyone else, and made her difficult recover work worth while as she proved that she will be the one who decides how she walks away from a sport she loves, on her own terms and only when she is ready. Congratulations Sarina! We are all so proud of you and so glad you are with us for another season!
