Just a reminder that we have a great class for parents this Thursday, April 15th called Judging 101. Traci Hogan who is a AI Team Coach and HS Certified Judge will teach the class. Judging 101 will answer your questions about meet scoring, what the judges are looking for and how they determine your daughters score. Many parents are confused at meets casually watching girls perform. How did that girl get a higher score than my daughter? She fell off beam and my daughter stayed on! Traci will explain the deductions for omitting a skill, skill values and yes falls and spots. Gymnasts that forget to do a skill or perform skills in the wrong order often lose more points than the deduction for a fall, so you can see how just watching the girls perform does not always give you a fair assessment of their score. This is a great class and VERY helpful to those that are interested and concerned about your daughters scores. Traci will explain it all!
Optional Parents will cover the aspects of HS Scoring, event requirements, difficulty, Bonus, and more. This is an important class for optionals and their parents. Hope you will try to attend.

We had to change the time of our Judging class due to a scheduling conflict in the building. The Compulsory Class will run from 5:00 - 6:15, The Optional Class will run from 7:00 - 9:00.
